In a significant stride towards uplifting the standards of care in Cambridgeshire, the Care Professional Academy made waves last week at the Cambridgeshire Care Provider Conference.

Cambridgeshire County Council have partnered with the Care Professional Academy to bring a wide range of benefits and advantages that the Academy offers, free of charge, to all care staff and providers across the county under the banner of Cambridgeshire Academy for Reaching Excellence (CARE). Care providers who have signed up, are supporting the Cambridgeshire City Council’s CARE initiative to improve training and retain staff for over 9,000 care workers across the county.

The event was a huge success and marked a crucial platform for the Care Professional Academy to extend its support to social care providers in Cambridgeshire. Gill Forward, the Academy Manager says “We were thrilled to connect with Care Professionals and showcase the benefits of the Care Professional Academy. It’s heartening to see the positive response and be able to engage with providers across the county to help them with their recruitment & retention strategies, as well as support, develop and reward their teams who are at the heart of delivering great care and support”

The Care Professional Academy’s presence at the conference highlighted the commitment to enhancing the skills, knowledge and recognition of Care Professionals across Cambridgeshire. By engaging with attendees, the academy aimed to create awareness about the various resources, training modules and exclusive rewards it offers to those working tirelessly in adult social care.

As it continues to gain momentum, the Care Professional Academy remains steadfast in its commitment to shaping a brighter future for adult social care through education, empowerment and acknowledging the remarkable contributions of Care Professionals.
