Hertfordshire County Council Adult Care Services (ACS) Learning and Development are committed to striving for excellence across the adult social care workforce. Our priority is to ensure that this workforce has the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver services to the residents of Hertfordshire and beyond.
As part of Hertfordshire County Council, Step2Skills adult community learning service provides opportunities for adults in Hertfordshire to get involved in learning within the community. We aim to work with people who face barriers to education and employment such as low skills, learning or physical disabilities and mental health conditions.
New Leaf Recovery & Wellbeing College is passionate about ensuring that students are at the centre of everything we do. We build on people’s strengths and support them in moving from ‘patient’ to ‘student’ and sometimes ‘teacher’ within the college. We work together collaboratively at every level, assisting the individual in their personal recovery journey to share and empower others in their personal recovery.
