HCPA secures funding from a range of agencies, including government, local authorities and the NHS, enabling it to provide a broad portfolio of funded or low‑cost education programmes and qualifications for Care Provider member organisations. These opportunities support Care Professionals at all career stages to remain up to date with local and national initiatives, while strengthening skills, confidence and professional practice.
Hertfordshire County Council Adult Care Services (ACS) Learning and Development are committed to striving for excellence across the adult social care workforce. As part of Hertfordshire County Council, Step2Skills adult community learning service provides opportunities for adults in Hertfordshire to get involved in learning within the community. We aim to work with people who face barriers to education and employment such as low skills, learning or physical disabilities and mental health conditions.
