ABOUT US

We’re incredibly proud of the work we do here at the Academy and want to make sure your teams are getting the most out of our platform, it’s their passport to progress.

The Care Professional Academy is a not-for-profit company, with an overall mission to professionalise the care sector, reward Care Professionals for their commitment to their role and their CPD (Continuous Professional Development); raise the sectors profile as a great place to work and to change the culture and attitudes and promote Care staff across the sector as Care Professionals.

Social Care providers can sign up to the Academy to support and enhance their recruitment and retention strategies, whilst progressing a positive culture across their whole organisation. Through the provider portal organisations can view your teams’ certificates, receive training reminders for refresher courses, run reports and have evidence at their fingertips for governance and compliance at a micro and macro level. As well as offer an effective employee benefit scheme across their whole adult social care workforce.

Working in Partnership

The Care Professional Academy started as a partnership between Hertfordshire Care Providers Association and Adult Care Services at Hertfordshire County Council and was aimed at ensuring the entire care workforce across the county was trained to a professional, best practice standard. The remit has grown beyond Hertfordshire and the Academy is now available in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and continues to develop into other areas.

The Care Professional Academy is available to purchase for ALL Social Care Providers across UK and Local Authority. To find out more visit https://www.careprofessional.co.uk/services or email contact@careprofessional.co.uk

The Academy is available to all adult care providers and all services across the entire country including residential services, community groups, Direct Payment Holders, domiciliary care.

This would not be possible if it were not for the various staff powering these organisations, however, it is recognised working in social care is not always seen as attractive. We aim to support recruitment and retention, and help individuals continue to recognise and grow their knowledge, creating a culture of excellence through continuous learning and development.
